Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Accounts: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), job title, and the time you last signed in.
- Schools: name, city, ZIP code, enrollment and classification.
- Listings and requests: what you post, the messages you send with a request, and the answers.
- Email alerts and reports: the searches you save for alerts, and any reports you send us about a listing or request.
- Tips: if you leave a tip, the amount. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Technical: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and failed sign-in attempts (to stop password guessing). Some pages show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show those ads and to measure them; you can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
- Ads: how many times each sponsor ad is shown and clicked, as totals. Sponsors never get your personal information.
We collect no student information.
How we use it
Only to run the Service: showing listings, delivering requests and answers by email, sending the alert emails you ask for (every one has a link to stop them), reviewing reports, and adding booked games to your school's SchoolSportsHQ calendar when your school uses it. We do not sell personal information. Sponsor ads pay for the site, and we don't use your account to pick which ad you see. A school you report is not told who reported it.
Who can see it
Other registered schools see your school's listings and profile. The other school in a request sees your message and, once booked, your name and email. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) stores the data. Ads from Google AdSense are served by Google, which may personalize them under its own policies. We share information only if the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
Passwords are hashed and every page is served over HTTPS.
